Class Attendance
Students are required to attend all classes in line with their academic trimester. Thongsook College promotes a student-centered approach to ensure that continuous quality assurance for both the undergraduates and graduate programs are being achieved.
Students enrolled into a Thongsook College program should familiarize themselves with the attendance policy to avoid academic probation.
Student Punctuality
The following is the lateness principle to which all students are required to adhere:
08:30 - classes begin.
0.1 08:45 - 10:00 - students arriving at or during this time will forfeit a 3% deduction
from their total score.

deduction from their total score.
0.3 12:00 - 16:00 - students arriving at or during this period will forfeit a 18%
deduction with an absent submission and will be subject to academic probation.

deduction with an absent submission and will be subject to academic probation.

from their total score.
Absence
Thongsook College continues to ensure students receive quality through their academic studies. The undergraduate program is a module-based program which does not allow enrolled students to take any unauthorized absences.
Protocol for number of days absent:
One day – If a student is absent for one day they will forfeit an 18% deduction from their total score.
Two or more days will result in course failure, in accordance to Thai law.
Authorized absences are only permissible if students are absent due to Thongsook College visa-related issues.
Students are advised that their attendance throughout their academic career with Thongsook College will be monitored and reviewed on a continuous basis by the Academic Board.
In extreme circumstances (bereavement), the student will be granted compassionate leave. Thongsook College officials and the Director or CEO of the program will determine the necessary steps on a case-by-case basis.
Inactive Student Status
A student who has not attended any classes for two consecutive semesters will be removed from the class registration. Should the student return, they will be required to complete the entire enrolment process again including payment of initial registration fees.
